Answered Prayers

Hmm, I prayed it wouldn't rain yesterday, and will you believe it? It didn't!!! Hahahaha...It was quite surprising. The day before I was on the MRT standing in front of a lady and her young son. The boy talked very loud. He liked to ask questions. It went like this:

Boy: Mummy, why does it rain?
Mummy: The water on the ground evaporates and becomes clouds...when the raindrops get too heavy they fall down...
Boy: Mummy, it's been raining everyday now...
Mummy: Yes, it has...
Boy: It rains everyday at the same time...
Mummy: For the past few days, yes...
Boy: Mummy, I think there is a timetable for rain...everyday at 2pm it must rain...
Mummy: No, it isn't like that...it's because it is...
Boy: No mummy, I mean God must have a timetable for rain...
Mummy: No...it doesn't work that way...
Boy: Why doesn't it? Mummy, but it has been raining everyday at 2pm...

I left the train then, hehe...It was rather amusing. Then the next day I went to bring grandpa out again, and then it was around 2pm....and the dark clouds were gathering! Oh no! Grandpa would be awfully uncomfortable going out like this...and he had to go out! Haha, appointment with the doctor's. So me and the maid went out with grandpa, and I was walking along and praying and praying and poof! The dark clouds suddenly began to blow away! And when we reached the clinic...The sky was an azure blue. Wow...

Later on the Campus Group had a Barbecue at Ah Pa Jiun Ming's condo (gorgeous place!) and when we set out, it was raining! So, what to do? Pray again! :P This was the first time I took the LRT in Singapore btw, it was very interesting. It has a big window at the back, and you look out at the rails...fascinating...rather scary also. O.o

So when we reached Bukit Panjang, suddenly it stopped raining leh...Hehe...and we had a great bbq! So much food...Thanks Simon! And thanks Ah Pa Jiun Ming for MY huge watermelon hahaha (It cost S$11 btw, is it that ex in M'sia?)...And guess what...I saw a bat swim! Haha, We were standing next to the swimming pool, and then suddenly this black creature swooped down into the pool and started swimming! O.o A bat! Woah! Maybe it was because Dai Ga Jie Wai Pheng was there, haha, bats have a kind of affinity for her. When we went to the Night Safari...she was scratched by a bat! Nearly bat woman already, haha.

Had bananas with chocolate for the first time (heaven) and bbq'd marshmallows...and bbq'd sea bass, satay, chicken drummets (so nice!), otak-otak...sausages...hehehe
