When you write a postcard to someone, you think carefully because there isn't much space, and you want to write only what is important.
There is a picture on one side, usually of the place where you are. Or sometimes it can be of something else. A cute picture, drawn by a child in a hospital. A work of art. A photograph of a poignant scene.
And you write: Wish you were here.
I have locked my heart and thrown the key away.
