of winding staircases and my relationship with cheese

completely random: pretty shadows in the morning taken halfway up a winding staircase (aren't winding staircases the sweetest things? except when you have to draw them in sketchup, but that can be fun too)

today i made pizza for lunch

i made the dough, and sis plumped it up beautifully for me...it initially looked like a floury lump of doughy pieces.

then you put it in the pizza tray...but if you can you make a perfect rectangle and don't fold the edges in to pretend you made a perfect rectangle

and for topping you have strawberry...i mean tomato puree, a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper

spread it neatly, and then add whatever topping you want. in my case i added minced pork leftover from hamburgers yesterday (i wonder what mom will say when she realizes that we've been having hamburgers, fried chicken and pizza for dinner every night since she's been out), tomatoes, button mushrooms, dehydrated peppers, onions, and cheese, of course.

in case you were wondering what dehydrated peppers are. spanish people actually do this, i no kidding. they put it over the stove on the fire, it gets charred, then they put it in a plastic bag, let it sweat a bit, and then they wash off the charred bits.

it's sweating

i think it gives the pepper an interesting burnt smell, but nyways.

freshly grated mozarella (*faints with pleasure)
and i forgot to take pics of the rest of the ingredients

and out of the oven it comes...

erm, the money shot...

and this is how you eat it :)

the recipe for the dough is here: here
hahaha
