Woke up this morning at 8 something even though I slept late doing something top-secret :D for the family business hahaa (There is a family business??? O.o) cos I had a breakfast date with a friend I hadn't seen in at least one and a half years!!!
Then mummy sidetracked me with more family business hahahaa so I had BRUNCH with Kavi at Old Town White Coffee (For Kavi and I, this is an OLD hangout haha)...Kavi is my old Form Six classmate who used to come back with me after school ALOT cos she lives like a block away from where I live (So we're PRACTICALLY neighbors!!).
And then now we meet again!! She's doing Chemistry at UKM, and doing really well!! After eating at Old Town and doing a lot of catching up (hee, about everything, from school, food, friends, boyfriends (she's got a nice one now haha!! He sounds nice, anyway!!), to the old politics!!) And then we went back and decided to go to Midvalley later!! (another old hangout!!) (This is the convenience of living so near each other heehe)
And the pics o!!! We met Kavi's friend Mala there!! :D
The Global Indian Shopping Festival was being held at Midvalley, so we decided to visit it!!
That's a kolam at the back!! Kavi and I got to know each other better in a kolam making competition during Form 6!! It was a fun experience!! Haha!!
We're helping to carry the statue's plant hee!!
Kavi and Mala!!
Kavi and me at the Asthana Arts Booth where Mala works!!
The dancers doing a really energetic dance!! It was really funny lol, I was trying to take a pic of this, and then a short little guard came over, really a cute, plump little man hee, with a mustache to boot!! And I thought he was saying I couldn't take pics!! And turns out he was saying please, please, go up front and take pics with the professional people up there!! So I went up, hee, but was a little afraid of going up close, so I took a pic of the professional photographers along with the dancers!! LOL!! When I wandered back, the guard told me to go closer, CLOSER to take many nice nice pics!! And he was waving his hands about and he hit the plant the statue was carrying!! And it all came tumbling down o!! Hee!! He really was a cute guard!! Seemed he earlier went and posed with Mala to take a pic too!! LOL!!! A bit like something out of a comedic Hindi movie, no?
Mala and Kavi, showing off the world's tastiest apple...
Me going to take a bite of it, and Kavi smiling cos she ate her part already haha!!
How the Old Town White Coffee Girls ended up in Pizza Hut
Hehe!! Friends Forever? Cheesy, yes, but maybe, yes???
Mala!! She's super photogenic!!
Ahhh!! Are you hungry now? See the cheeese on my pizza!!!
Later we went to the Asthana Art's ad hoc dance studio where we met Mala's friend Din who is a professional dancer and teacher!! Here we are posing o!! LOL, I can't dance hee, I totally cannot...But I can pose!! Din taught us some cool dance moves for contemporary dance where I was so lost I stood there with my mouth open!! Hee!!
Hahaa, Din's the guy on my right!! I look super yucks!!
The guy in black is Mr Ravi Shanker, Astro guy...Woah!! Mala's doing the split!!
CUT!! CHANGE POSE!! CLICK!! What's the difference?
Me doing illegal things in the car...
Now, this is scary....
Now I'm back to concentrating on the road...Kids, don't try this at home, or in the car...oh wait, you can't drive anyway...Oh yes, we were moving all the while these pics were taken...my foot was on the accelerator...OH!!! See the doggie?? Hui Yin gave it to me for my birthday!! Haha!!!
Look at the jam...Kavi took this outside the toll plaza on the way back from Midvalley...there was a petrol station nearby...heee...
This was outside a petrol station near my house some time later...I was driving mummy's pajero in hopes of getting some petrol into it cos the old thing is one big oil guzzler that my mom loves and refuses to replace even with a new car dangling at the tip of her nose...
Hee, this is what happens when the government suddenly announces that tomorrow, petrol prices hike up 40 percent from RM1.92 a litre to RM2.70 a litre...In Aug, we will be paying abouts RM4.00 a litre.
What with the bans on foreign cars pumping petrol at our stations so that 'only those who deserve the subsidies will get them' and 'we do not want foreigners to benefit from our subsidy (Shahrir)'.
If only we knew where the money 'saved' actually goes, hm. Or maybe we just wonder WHOSE pockets they go into? Heh?
Lookie.
Put Malaysia RM2.70/litre at the bottom...O.o
Hmm, talking with Kavi makes me super politically conscious heee...LOLS, I am not usually up to date on this o, just that Kavi's bf kept sending her updates on this issue in the car, so that's what we talked about!! Woah!! Now I know something about what is going on around me!! Improvement o!!
But honestly, Badawi is kind of NUTS...
Let us learn how to ride bicycles again!! ~weeeeee!!!!! Cycles blandly into a bush...
